Your ceremony. Your way.
(My tips)

Readings

A lot of couples like to include readings as part of their ceremony.  There is no requirement to have readings and it is a totally personal choice.  Readings can range from something very sentimental and spiritual to ones that are amusing and light hearted. This is a great way to also get close family and friends involved too, especially for those that haven’t been involved in your bridal party (if you have one). Parents can also form a special part of the ceremony in this way.

Sooner or Later

Sooner or later we begin to understand that love is more than verses on valentines, and romance in the movies. We begin to know that love is here and now, real and true, the most important thing in our lives. For love is the creator of our favourite memories and the foundation of our fondest dreams. Love is a promise that is always kept, a fortune that can never be spent, a seed that can flourish in even the most unlikely of places. And this radiance that never fades, this mysterious and magical joy, is the greatest treasure of all -- one known only by those who love.

The Velveteen Rabbit

"Does it happen all at once, like being wound up," asked the Rabbit one day, "or bit by bit?"
"It doesn't happen all at once," said the Horse.
"It takes a long time. That's why it doesn't happen often to people who break easily, or have sharp edges, or who have to be carefully kept. Generally, by the time you are Real, most of your hair has been loved off, and your eyes drop out and you get loose in the joints and very shabby. But these things don't matter at all, because once you are Real you can't be ugly, except to people who don't understand."

The Bargain

My true love hath my heart, and I have his,

By just exchange one for another given:

I hold his dear, and mine he cannot miss,

There never was a better bargain driven:

My true love hath my heart, and I have his.

His heart in me keeps him and me in one,

My heart in him his thoughts and senses guides:

He loves my heart, for once it was his own,

I cherish his because in me it bides:

My true love hath my heart, and I have his.
